Thanks for the write-up Susi, good summary. It was a great day and we were all pleased to see lots of good evaluation forms and positive comments from the delegates.

"Uber-nerd of tech search" - should I add that to the header of my website!? Good job I toned the tech-talk down for yesterday's presentation... ;-)

Just to add one link relating to my talk (glad you found Aaron Wall's piece on Google embedding itself in the conversion stream), this is the original article on "less than free": http://abovethecrowd.com/2009/10/29/google-redefines-disruption-the-%E2%80%9Cless-than-free%E2%80%9D-business-model/

Great overview of the day. The delivery of both talks was first class. The East Midlands is honoured to have both Ian Lockwood and Susan Hallam on the scene.

It's also a priviledge to have events like this one on our doorstep. The opportunity to meet up with other small business owners who are interested in moving their companies forward is encouraging. I met many interesting people from all sorts of sectors, and it was great to find out about their experiences with internet marketing and social media.
